I can relate to your after-college angst, as I too went to a big name institution. I wouldn't worry too much about holding yourself up to a high standard. Please, please, please do what you like and want to do. My classmates have all done off-beat jobs mixed in with traditional vocations, and not just to "check off" one more experience but to actually enjoy it. I use my traditional job to fund what I love to do in my free time.
BTW, there used to be a great old van dripping with solar panels parked at the main beach on Key West for years.

Hi,
Our stories are pretty much alike. I also have been in New Zealand living in a van for 1 year, mine was honda (station wagon) I also have a degree in university and I also think that society as it is now is just not right, so I choose to live outside of it, in a camper van, in a simple way, trying to connect with my inner self instead of focusing on buying cool jackets and dinner out with friends in expensive restaurants, I make my money busking and doing all sort of odd jobs. My dream is to have a RV with solar wind power so I can make art in my space without paying THE MAN to do it. Some of us just follow a diferent beat, like thoreau said once. I'm also 28, and I'm much happier now, than I was when i had a nice and hollow job. It's more real now. good luck!
