Forty years ago, the then flavor of dropping out involved 'hunting' for free love and 'gathering' enough spare change or friends to get some weed. It's easy now to look back and wonder, 'what the hell were we thinking?' but that's okay. Maybe civilization will be around for another fifty years and allow some of us to look back and see how it all 'worked' out. Hopefully they won't be hungry enough to have to eat their words. ha! the balls of youth!
