Isn't it strange that I come to this site for the first time and click on the archives and the autobiography section and the first one that comes up is a person from my hometown? Yes, I too was born in Melbourne, and while I have travelled internationally, I'm envious of the lengths you have reached. Now in Bendigo, I think your work has inspired me to now try to contribute to this site, perhaps a mag, and maybe even try to write the story of my life in 400 words or less. Thank you. WOW!

Yes, I thought the decapitated head might grab attention! It was in the anatomy labs while I was at uni, and the experience - and privilege - of holding one of the 'specimens', looking at his brain and gazing into long dead blue eyes, hasn't left me yet.
